It's an annual sand sculpture festival in Weston-Super-Mare, South-west England, UK. Do you have Google Earth installed? It's a wonderful tool for locating Deviants! [link]

Omg, are the sculptures really this big, or does the photographer make it look that way? These are truly grand... I couldn't even imagine myself ever doing anything like this amazing... thanks so much for sharing your awesomely wicked photos with me!

Yes, they're huge! Each sculpture takes tons of sand to do. It's an annual event on our beach. The first one in 2006, King Kong [link] got vandalised about 2 weeks after it was built, so they now have security guards during the night and they're built in an enclosed area.
